Frenchtown Pond State Park

Junior Rangers, our next program is “Native or Noxious?” on Tuesday, July 17th from 10am to 12pm. Protect Montana’s beautiful land by learning the difference between native plants and noxious weeds. Hint: some noxious weeds look like pretty wildflowers!

This FREE event is geared toward kids ages 5-12 who love to play and learn outdoors. Attend TWO Junior Ranger programs this summer to earn your Junior Ranger badge. Attend more for additional rewards. Each Junior Ranger event is unique and offers an opportunity to learn something new.

All programs will be held Tuesdays at 10am at the East Shelter of Frenchtown Pond State Park, located on 1-90 exit 89, a few miles west of Missoula. Each program runs roughly an hour and a half to two hours long. Please come prepared for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
