Tell Us Something! Youth Edition
Monday, August 5 through Friday, August 9 between the hours of 1 and 4 p.m., Missoula’s expert story curator Marc Moss will guide youth campers in putting on their own Tell Us Something event. Campers will select a theme for their Tell Us Something event, do stage prep, and workshop their stories. On the Friday evening of the camp, they will present Tell Us Something: Youth! With stories told and produced by the kiddos. This camp will take place at Zootown Arts Community Center and will welcome children ages 12 to 17. Please visit ZooTownArts.org for more information.
Job Opening at HSWM: Trainer & Behavior Consultant
The Humane Society of Western Montana is devoted to supporting pets in transition and they’re growing their team of talented individuals! HSWM operates a progressive behavior program, assisting pets temporarily residing in the shelter, community pets, and a large number of transfer pets requiring additional behavioral intervention. The ideal candidate will be available 40 hours per week but alternate schedules may be considered for experienced applicants. Only the most qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview. You know it’s that time of year when the snow cones are ready and the dust is billowing up from the arena at the Missoula County Fairgrounds. It’s time for the annual Western Montana Fair.
