Winter days are a great time to take inventory of what we use and what we haven’t used in a long time. Do you have an old bike or spare bike parts that you have been meaning to part with? The time has come! Missoula Free Cycles is always in need of parts and tools. Donations of old clothes are also good for cutting up into rags and more. Plus, donating these items keeps them out of the landfill! With Missoula being on the list of top ten cycling destinations within the United States, there is great opportunity to see the positive impact that bikes have on our local businesses and roadways. Financial contributions are also appreciated to keep Missoula the biking city that it is! To view the current wish list, visit

Growing our Tech Community

An announcement was made for the plan of a Tech and Innovation Campus coming to the Old Sawmill District. The plans position it to be an innovation and professional office space for Missoula’s growing tech community. ATG (Cognizant) is moving into the Old Sawmill District this season and others are expected to follow. The area extends from Cambium Place across Wyoming street and provides an opportunity to construct several buildings incrementally or simultaneously for a nominal cost for 160,000 to 200,000 square feet of commercial space with underground parking. The campus area is expected to support more than 1,000 employees, retail, food, and beverage, and outdoor common gathering spaces. Visit, for more information.
